Referrals
Referrals may be requested 24 hours a day. Please be aware that at times up to 10 days is needed by your insurance company to approve your request and then for us to process the referral. If you go to a specialist without a referral in place, you may be held responsible for the bill to be paid. Requesting a referral does not constitute approval by your insurance company.
Please be advised that due to new insurance regulations we are unable to backdate a referral. Please contact our office prior to your scheduled visit with a specialist to obtain an additional referral as soon as you schedule your appointment. A referral must be logged in advance to ensure coverage.
